Poolsure Service Update – July 2021

With summer well underway, we’d like to thank you for your continuing support for Poolsure! As our team and offerings grow, Poolsure’s goal is to keep you updated every step of the way. As part of that effort, we want to share some of the challenges that are currently facing both ourselves and the pool industry as a whole.

Poolsure has access to a strong chlorine supply through our supplier network, and we still anticipate no chemical shortages this summer. A few months ago, we had expected extraordinary demand for product and have been working hard to strengthen our strategic partnerships to maintain product availability. However, the ongoing supply chain issues around the world threw some unanticipated challenges at us, and demand has been even stronger than forecast. We’ve faced delays in receiving new delivery trucks, lack of parts for vehicles that break down, lack of availability for coatings used to refurbish tank liners, chemical tank shortages, and extended wait times for electrical components. These hurdles, along with lingering equipment repair needs from the winter freeze and the hiring challenges throughout the workforce, have impacted delivery and service in some areas.

While most locations are experiencing regular service times, we are running slower than usual in certain areas in Texas that have been especially hard hit by adverse circumstances. Every team member is working hard to provide the best possible service as we surmount these challenges. Poolsure’s chlorine supply remains strong, and there is no need for concern regarding any chemical shortages.
